    Hey all,
My grandmother has a 1GB Memory Stick PRO Duo for her Sony camera and we can't get to the pictures on it at all. Works perfectly in her camera, but doesn't come up on our desktop computer (Win Vista) at all, and only comes up faded in my laptop (Win 7). When click on, it asks to insert a disk in the drive...
I've tried renaming the disk, and changing the drive letter also...
Any ideas? We can't find the USB wire at all for the camera to use that!
    Thanks in advance

On Vista, try changing the Folder Options to show hidden and system files and you should see all your pictures there.

I have my laptop set up to show hidden and system files, which is why the icon is faded... But the "insert disk" message still comes up, an I can't access the files. In properties, there's no used space and no free space

Try using a Card reader, failing that make sure the cameras Drivers are installed properly, Sonys website is awful for finding drivers, but its prob your best bet, failing that a card reader that supports MSPro, Actually some printers have card viewer facilities, look for one on your printer if you have one
