Ireland has a rep for being shoddy about start times in the first place. Chapman has been told from above to shut his trap about chiding the late start time situation in Ireland on air.

And yet they say there going to try put 25mins between races now in Dundalk as a trial run. If its a struggle to get them in the stalls for 30mins how hard will it be to get them allin in 25! Horses should be around the parade ring 15mins before the off and at the stalls at least 5mins before and start loading then just in case there is an unruly horse in the stalls giving them a little bit of time to work with. As for the NH starts well lets be honest there just a joke at times! Why do they always seem to have the horses grouped up only 5yards away from the tape when surely having a walking start 20 odd yards away and let them stroll in and up with the tapes, ya's swear it was rocket science! But sure that'll never happen:rolleyes:

I don't mind Chapman to be honest he just says it as he see's it and ruffles peoples feathers and horse racing needs more people like him at least he's a bit of fun unlike some of the drips presenting these days

Yeah Chapman is very good. Although a nice guy i cant stand Sean Boyces style and find it hard to listen to him drone on treating idiotic email comments with the utmost respect!.
