Anyone see Clercs acting virtuoso performance to draw a penalty from the ref in the France Canada match. I'm raging here. What a knob. Hope this soccer style rubbish isn't creeping into rugby.

It's nothing new and some Irish players have been very much guilty of it previously.

Alan Quinlan and Fabian Pelouse come to mind.

True Ger. Alan Quinlan certainly did it.

Ferris actually did something similar against Samoa in the AIs, got a slap in the face but went down like he'd been shot. Pretty bad stuff tbh.

    *whistles*

I don't want to name names...

But it's playing the ref and being clever when we do it of course.

I suppose if you're not cheating you are not trying hard enough.

Another stupid thread, in a week of moronic threads

He jumped over the hoarding rather then crash into it with his shins. How dare he try and avoid injury!!!

The ref gave a stupid penalty on the advise of a poor call from the linesman, nothing to do with Clerc

What every you say about the French, the Canada Rugby team Really Came out today and can be very proud of their game today.. they played very well,

But the French just up it in the last 20mins..

Yeah Quinners started jumping up and down wincing in pain after Fabien gave him a soft kick up the hole.

I didn't celebrate Munster's win thaat day due to Quinlan's tactics. And Munster still cry about the Neil Back thing.

Save that craven s hit for soccer. Rugby players should have honour.

In fairness to Clerc he was running at pace and your man deflected him towards the boards which were very close. I don't think he did too much wrong. I doubt he was even looking for the penalty tbh.

Thr match was almost a carbon copy of the Japan game.

I don't blame Clerc at all for jumping over, the penalty was a joke though.
