laptop cpu HELP!!!

    ok first of all forget about the prices

    heres my problem
    I want reasonable gaming notebook,its not my main priority but i play gta 4 every once in a while (the game never gets old with all the mods).
    the gpus are fairly evenly matched with 17fps on the hp and i think 19 on the samsung (in gta4 on high).

    the problem is with the cpus ,i know gta is quite demanding on them and i wanted to know how much of a difference it will make,i think gta can use the 4 cores of the hp but im not sure and how will the slow clock speed of the hp effect it??

    I know,it seems like the samsung is the obvious choise but i had a go of both pcs in harvey norman (with no intention to buyn there,robbn bastards!!) and the samsung has such a cheap,plasticy and shabby feel to it were as the hp is just sexual!!

    I really want the hp,if i wasnt so hung up on the specs id have it mounths ago (seriously,i cant make up my mind with like the last mounth and a half),will the processer of the hp make much of a difference?im not bothered about the power of the laptop other than gaming.i really want the hp but if its gonna be crap il have to go with the samsung..
