Does anyone know the extent of these works? Specifically how far east they're going (or have they gone as far as they will?).

I know there's not much down there for everyone else, but I'd be very happy if they finally resurfaced North Wall quay (ecstatic if they went crazy and kept going up Castleforbes Road and along Upper Sheriff Street too) as it's in a pretty disgraceful state for something in the nations capital.

Also, I think they could take this opportunity to do some merge painting - I've been of the opinion for quite some time that merging Custom House Quay in front of the building itself (before the lights) would improve flow through the Georges Dock bridge, given that it's current form makes merging a bit of a free-for-all. I've never understood when roads diverge into several lanes for only a couple of hundred metres like that.
