    hey thanks!

    wasn't too sure cos philips seemed to get bad reviews and Samsung got good ones. But as you say the Samsung is only HD ready. Does this make much of a difference?

    1080p doesnt always mean its better. i have a 1080i samsung and my folks have a 1080p phillips. my picture is alot better..

    I got an LG 32" and returned it as the picture was so bad - got a Philips 32" instead and the picture is amazing. I would buy a Philips again no problem ..
