Myself (long time guitarist and song writer, occasional midi programmer) and a singer are getting a new band together at a chilled pace.

We're both in our mid 30s and located in the South Dublin / North Wicklow area. We're currently jamming once a week and getting a mixed set of originals and covers together, to build up the sound. Right now we're alternating between acoustic and electric sessions.

Influences across a wide range, probably dominated by melodic indie/rock, bands like The Beatles, The National, Stone Roses, Pearl Jam, Editors, Ride, REM, The Longcut and Radiohead would all be in there along with lots of electronic stuff, everything from Aphex Twin to Sigur Ros and on to harder stuff like Tool.

We're interested in playing with experienced musicians of different types to see what gels.

So we're looking for any of (possibly all); a bass player, drummer, keyboard/midi groover, cello player, guitar player for some, initially casual jamming. If it gels great, if it doesn't - no worries - jamming with new people is always great craic.

If we find folk that gel in quickly, we'll shoot for stepping it up to gigging pretty quickly.

There are just a few rough bits at:

    Cheers,

    Chilly.
