They're always looking for a story, weather its some scandel in the goverment, some z lister falling out of a nightclub, or some premiership star and his bit on the side.

Dont have the links but this week some of the tabloids attacked the England team who some of which were in the pub/club following their win against Argentina. Martin Johnson's simple responce was something like 'Rugby players like to drink beer, shocker! after he gave permission for them to go out and have a few, even the club they were in came to their defence.

Today, just back from the shops, front page of the Irish S*n, Irish team out in NZ Pub this week following win against USA, didn't seem to do them much harm today.

So is it a quiet month or something, where they are just finding something to write about, even if like this morning they wind up with egg on their faces.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Welsh or Scottish editions have ran similar stories this week. So much for claiming to support their nation when trash like this is published.

    Let me just clarify:
Those photos were from the night that the squad went out in Queenstown on the night before their last full down-day. Almost two weeks ago. All fine and typically classy by the red-tops to fudge it as something actually current and newsworthy.
