    Hi all,

I know they've been mentioned on here before, but I can't think of their name.

The lads that stick the lightbars and battenburg on the cars and such. I think they're Wicklow or Wexford based?

Anyone know who I'm talking about?

Wilker, used to be the only place in the country that did these conversions. There based in Clara, Offaly.

However Primo coachworks are doing decent work these days and would go with them over wilker. Based in ferbane, offaly

Primo have a couple of Ex wilker lads working for the afaik.

I haven't seen a newish parfit ambulance. I don't know if they still do them. I know they still do the wheelchair vehicles though

If it's just the basic stuff like lightbars and battenburg etc you're looking for, Frank Day motors does work for Dublin Bus and Dublin CD, he's out off the M50, north of Ballymun... alot cheaper for the likes of stickers, resprays and such

if you're looking for bodywork etc to be adapted or modified however, best go to Wilker or similar

I'm actually not looking to get any work done, d3exile, I just couldn't remember the name Wilker, and it was starting to annoy me.

Yeah , Hanlon Ambulances in Longford , IIRC there was a serious industrial dispute there and the factory was more or less re-located to the UK where its main market was.

They do the marked cars, however most of the dash mounted and hidden units come from Whelen.
