White line on projector screen?

I have a Acer PD100 projector which has a white line running down the of the projected screen vertically from top to bottom. I got the projector yesterday, the person who gave it to me found it in a clear out where they work but no one there knew its history. Apart from the line it appears to be fine. Anyone got any ideas…
