My school are not doing the Irish Oral at Junior Cert level yet, however, I have been asked to facilitate a revision course for Junior Cert Irish.
I am not too familiar with the layout of the oral exam. I would be grateful if those who are doing it could help with a few questions so that I can get prepared!

Can someone tell me if the above pictures for the roleplay section are used every year or do they change like the Leaving Cert ones?

2. Is there another picture sequence they need to talk about?

The Sraith Pictiúir and Rolghlacadh do not change each year.

The Sraith Pictiúir are 'Cuid 2' of the circular you have posted a link to, but I can't find them online. They are in the An dtuigeann tú? 2 book though, and there are sample answers in there too.

There are 5 Sraith Pictiúir and 8 Rolghlacadh's. 8 of the 10 questions for the Rolghlacadh can be used for each one of them (like 'Cad is ainm don _____') which make them easier to prepare. These are all in an dtuigeann tú?. For the Sraith Pictiúir I'd aim to have 4 sentences prepared for each picture, anything else is a bonus.

The chat is just a simple version of the leaving cert.

I'm assuming it's a new edition of An dTuigeann tú 2 as they don't appear to be in the one I have at school?

Yeah, they were in the one we got this year, but not in the ones from last year.
