    hi the automatic air vent AAV on our boiler is leaking is it hard to change yourself or do i need to call a plumber not really sure how to empty my boiler any tips would be great

    Check the manual. It shouldn't be difficult, a new vent costs around € 10.- and the job is done in 5 minutes.
    There are several things to be looked at, pressure in the expansion vat, consistency of the circulating water etc... If you are not able to get the manual you better employ a plumber.
