Hi guys, just a quick one. Have my first 10k tomorrow. Dilemma is,between one thing and another, havnt run since last sunday:( Ive done a bit of walking and some sessions on my rowing machine. Should i be good to go? Also, was going to push myself to do a decent time (well,to me anyways). Would this be wise seeing as i hav'nt got any runs in in a week,or should i just wait and see how i feel during the race? Any tips, pointers? Cheers in advance

You are Better off rested than over trained with tired legs.

Go for your target. The ]vibe of race day will get you going

    Good Tapering..

From reading others, it is recommended to Taper for the last week. final days doing nothing. maybe some stretches to keep the legs from seizing up.

It is said you won't improve in a week so its the work you have done 2 weeks ago that will stand to ya in the race.

Good luck in your race.. Enjoy it :)
