How long to grow a goatee?

I've kind of decided to try growing a goatee but I'm just wondering how long it will take to grow fully? I've gave it about a week so far and it's coming along reasonably well but it's not really covering the front of my chin as I would have hoped.

How long do people give it usually when growing these?

Anywhere between 1 day and 10 years.

You need to give it 2-3 months to see your beard potential, how it fills in, and what you have to work with.

It depends on the person. Some people have very slow growth, others quite fast... and then some in between. The best way to grow a goatee is wait.

It varies massively I shave every night and if I'm going out I shave in the evening, I can shave off my beard and have it back to a 1 blade length in a week or so.
