Scoring For Film

    Hey all

I've been gaining quite a bit of interest in scoring for film/animations but I'm having trouble finding resources to get started.

I'm mainly looking for any short movies/animations that have no music on them yet, or even animations that need sound effects and music.

I'll be studying it this year in college but I'm looking to get a bit of a jump start on the whole process!

Any help would be much appreciated!

    It's simple.

Go looking for movie trailers on Youtube - capture them and download them.

Then you put your own sound design to the trailers.

You simply take what is there - remove the sound - and put your own in its' place.

How I didn't think of that is beyond me. That's gonna be good to start!

Is there any way to get movies with the sfx and dialogue still attached?

    Thanks for the reply!
