    Anyone else? I do.

Over the last 4 weeks, I've lost (at least): my watch, a notebook, a capo, load of plectrums and an electronic tuner (left in Ireland - got them back!), a bag, £50-ish, my passport and two coats.

Last Friday I lost my coat at school, found it at the end of the day. Went out that night, lost it (along with my passport!). Got it back Sunday, left it on the bus Monday. Got it back Wednesday, lost it again at school and got it back Thursday.

So either I don't deserve to live, or God's trying to tell me I've got a shit coat.

What stupid things have you done/do you keep doing that make you question your sanity? Reading this thread doesn't count.

Was watching a film on the laptop with the Mrs a few weeks ago.
I thought it was a bit quiet so I spent a good minute or two pointing the TV remote at the laptop trying to figure out why the bastard thing wouldnt turn up the volume.
The Mrs all the while bursting herself laughing at me.
Eventually turned up the volume in VLC
and 5 minutes later again tried to turn up the sound with the ****ing TV remote

Twice lately I've pointed my phone at the telly to turn it up. I've aso tried to get into both the car and the house by whipping out my work ID and swiping in.

I've bought the same hoody four times because every one of them I buy I lose. I normally wouldn't replace it but I have had each one for less than a week.

I'm always losing stuff on my second drivers license and passport loads of college id cards too and quiet a few coats as well. Mostly on nights out. The worst is my ATM cards, a few months ago I rang up to cancel another one and she said just to let you this now the 17th the card you have been issued. Had to cancel a few since! so yes i do think sometimes I am to stupid to be alive:)

Do you keep losing bits of information from them or something? "oh look, I've just lost my name, passport looks odd now..."

I done something similar. In my local one night I had about 3 pints and went to break the seal. Whilst blasting the urinal, I looked down at my feet and to my surprise I was wearing my slippers. I just kept drinking and no-one commented on my choice of footwear. A bit silly but I don't think I should be killed for my stupidity in this instance. I remember licking a steak knife once and didn't notice I had cut myself until my mouth felt really warm, lots and lots and lots of blood.

I have lost around close to half a dozen baseball caps or woolly hats on buses, already in my lifetime.

    Absent minded rather than stupid.
