Old version 3g Jailbreak

    Hi all,

    I'm trying to jailbreak and unlock an old iPhone 3g (version 3.1). Most of the links I've found have been dead so I'm having no luck. Anyone have any ideas how I could go about this? Or if I can update it to a more recent version and still be able to jailbreak it?

    Check on Iclarified.com on the top left you should see Jailbreak/Unlock just follow the tutorials.

    Yes you can update to the latest eve ersion in iTunes and jailbreak at jailbreakme.com as the latest firmware is 4.2.1 on the 3G.
    Alternatively look up whited00r in google, it's a custom firmware with the speed of 3.1.3 that enables multitasking and all the features of the 3GS
