Long time lurker, first time poster..

Was wondering if I should invest my €500 into a spread betting account?
IF so, which is the best?

I've slight trading experience on Betfair.. Should I just invest it in that?

You can loose your money in a very short length of time with spread betting so you would want to be very sure of what you are doing! Closer to gambling than investing

I'd agree with cooperguy here, opening a spread betting account isn't exactly an investment as you won't actually own anything.

Even if you are considering opening a spreadbetting account, have you a well thought out strategy? Have you considered how much downside you are willing to risk per trade? Have you specific products in mind that you would like to trade and have you done research into what moves these markets? Always important to be fully prepared before risking your money.

I've used marketspreads.ie in college and it was fine. Bit slow at times but did the trick. No experience with any other platform.
