    Anybody been to Lisbon? Any ideas on the best area to stay in. Would like a mid range hotel with bars and restaurants nearby. Not interested in nightclubs. Any advice appreciated.

    previously stayed in the lisboa plaza hotel which was nice and just a block behind one of the main streets. Nice city but Porto is nicer, the waterfront area is lovely and the city bus tour is great to do.

    Try make it out to Sintra if possible, beautiful spot.
