Contacts, Photos, etc gone from iphone

I have a major problem here. My phone was syncing on my PC and the sync got corrupted. It was working fine after this but the computer would not sync itunes with the iphone. I was told to do a restore on the phone but it the restore would not work on the desktop because the phone would not whow in itunes.
I decided to back up the itunes library and import to laptop. The phone shows up with that OK. I decided to do a sync with new library.
the problem is now all my sim contacts, photos, video, etc are missing.
I trued to go to settings and "Import Sim contacts" but nothing comes up
Is there anyway I can get these back
