    Hi Folks,
As there isn't a dedicated Materials Forum, I was just trying to make people aware of Materials Ireland (MI). The remit of Material Ireland is to aid the development of a high technology economy in Ireland, by commercially exploiting advanced materials developed in Ireland.

On the MI website we regularly advertise PhD opportunities and jobs that may be available (currently jobs in HP and Boston Scientific are on the site).

Primarily MI runs events and seminars under the banner of IOM3.
We have a seminar series starting this month in Engineers Ireland on Clyde Rd, Dublin (Sept 27th at 6pm) with industrial and academic speakers talking about Photoactive Materials to combat HAI (eg. MRSA, eColi etc.).

These are open events, so if anyone is interested please drop in!

    Cheers,

    Brendan
