How much more dithering can they do?? Surely they have to make a decision on the upcoming budget? Even just having a link between st stephens green and O'Connell bridge would be a huge improvement for the people who have to suffer the misery of traveling through Dublin city centre.

Metro North is a Dead Duck.:pac:

It would be political suicide to spend this money with hospital services being slashed.

And another big project for Dublin would not go well down the country with regional projects being axed.

The government is just waiting for a busy news day to bury the announcement.

At the very least they should go ahead with the airport link. The new 747 route has made taking the bus even more of a nightmare than it used to be.

Metro North and Dart Underground won't go ahead for another decade at least, if at all. Luas BXD looks like it will be axed as well in the coming weeks.

The best we can hope for is improved bus services. Perhaps we should be seriously looking at BRT for the city.
