Not sure where they get the '€69 instead of €150.75' as the price on MemoryC site is €114 but seems like an ok deal. Also it requires a power supply, so can't be considered a 'portable' drive if thats what you're looking for.

I'm looking for an external HDD with seperate power supply to attach to a DTT Tuner for use as a PVR, but the only things putting me off this is the USB 2.0 interface, and there is no indication how noisey this thing is...

pixmania have a very reputation bad with a some people on boards, not as bad as komplett but not great.
I myself had actually had harddrives delivered broken from them because they weren't packed right.
But i still use them quite often.

Pixmania are fine. Ive ordered from them about 10 times, and they've been perfect.

Ah right... didnt know that. like i said before - i havent had a problem with them in all that time, but i might be on edge waiting for my next purchase after that info! :D

Personally, I would never use Pixmania ever again, regardless of how good the deal is. Everything's grand until something goes wrong, and then you'll spends months on end trying to get it sorted.

OP that seems like a good deal to me. Personally I'd be looking for USB 3.0 support on a hard drive going forward.

I've never come across anyone on boards who said they had a problem and pixmania dealt with it well. That's not a good sign!
