It is impossible to read the screen on the new ticket machines that were recently installed on the outside wall of Glenageary Dart station because of day light glare

I saw one couple walk away from it because they couldn't read the screen.

Could this be an excuse for not having a valid ticket if caught. :p

Every Scheidt and Bachman TVM (****e and Scrapman as we say over in the UK) machine has the same problem.

    And the screens aren't waterproof.

South west trains and First Great Western in the UK have dispensed with the company's services.

Same as the Luas ones , they are totally and utterly useless in the sunshine ( when we actually get any of course )

The Luas has an excuse, its an "outdoor" based system.

They could have another vending machine beside it selling Polaraid sun glasses. :p
