Would highly recomend the following shop, they have a great reputation and customer service.

Bought a swarovski scope off them last year as described and had it within the week.

iv'e had them all and it would take a good man to notice any differance between swarovski, zeiss or leica , look on donedeal there was a fella with swarovski 10x42 €1250 or 8.5x42 €1200 and they were the latest EL model , well worth the money i think

Try james mcbride outside athlone, i know he does swaro scopes so surely does binoculars aswell, back before i ran out of work i tried everyone for a nighforce scope and he was the cheapest around, even cheaper than importing, so i'd definately try him

I don't know where you are based chris but some of the camera shops in dublin city have second hand good quality german bins in stock, i bought a perfect pair of leicas in conns cameras for less then €700 with a years guarantee.
There is also a camera shop at the top of grafton street who have used binoculars in stock. Say what you like but the japanese and far eastern made brands can't match the german/ austrian ones.
