    Hey
Anyone from computer science doing a class on good design or usability or something remotely like that?
I went to the 1st lecture, thought it was interesting but it clashed with another class so I didn't end up doing it.

I've been asked to do a small talk and I was thinking it'd make a good topic, but i can't remember what the teacher's name is or what the book was.

If anyone could link the course page, or remember the book name I'd appreciate it.
    Thanks!

The class you did in first year was likely given by Derek Bridge, and the usability engineer he likely speaks about is Jakob Nielsen.

There is a second year module on Usability Engineering in UCC, the notes are down at the moment as it is the start of the year, however, using the Way Back Machine, you can find them here :

Try and save them if you need them as it can be dodgy. There are notes there on designing GUIs, usability and some other random things like how the eye works!

Let me know if this isn't what you meant and I'll do my best to see if I can figure it out !:)
