What's your favourite period of the year?

Mine would be October to December, Down here in Wexford we have the opera festival in which has a big fireworks display at the opening then there's halloween, Then i have the start of the snow to look forward to in november then its the lead up to christmas then stephens day then new years eve.. Then boring january ends my fun.

An best of all it's october next month!!

My least fave would be January to March, My birthday is the end of march so that ends that horrible time of the year.

    :pac:

It doesn't really matter. She'll be in foul humour no matter which month it is.

Bearing in mind which forum this is, maybe you should change the wording to "time of the year" or "season"...:)

I was going to say 'in before the time of the month jibes'. Ah well.

I like pretty much any time of the year, but I love September through to the end of December. Absolutely hate January (and February and March), not only is January a **** month in terms of weather, but bad things happen in January. January can go **** itself.

It's kind of hilarious watching everyone rush in to make the same obvious joke and seeing the disappointment on their little faces, like street urchins outside the sweetshop when the free candy has run out.

    Texthesia is great.

Its funny because the word "period" is ambiguous.

I love this time of year.. watching the seasons change and the days getting shorter.. all the kids are back in school and off the streets :pac:

And we can embrace our sh1t weather rather than praying for it to get 'nice out'

Hmmmm, your 'foul mood' post didn't really highlight the positive aspects of your girlfriend.

Maybe she needs to do some thinking, not you!

September is all right. Still 25 degrees and sunny and the students are back in the college across the road. Tans and short-shorts by the truckload.

June. Love long days even if it's not sunny.

Hate this time of year and january; end of summer and end of the year... probably an element of back to school blues carried over from back when I was still in school.
