A Couple of Air France Questions

So, I emailed them anyhow and haven't got a reply so I thought I'll throw it out here for some of the knowledgeable forumers to look at.

So first of all I booked a flight which is connecting in Paris (Charles De Gaulle) , on my outbound flight I will arrive at 22 and then depart again 10am the next morning, so will the Airport be open during the winter overnight? (19th December) I am nearly sure it willl be but I want peace of mind.

Also my return flight I only have 2 hours turnover time in the airport, but I'm in
the same Terminal for both (2F to 2E) so I presume it's enough time right?

Another question is since this is my first connecting flight, what happens if one of the flights get delayed and I miss my connecting flight (Each trip is with Air France and booked together) will Air France be obliged to get me to my destination on a different later flight?

    Thanks.

I'm pretty sure CDG is open, but why not look at getting a hotel for the long connection? There are cheap Formule1/Etap hotels with shuttles nearby and would make for a more comfortable layover.

2 hours should be fine on the way back (although they sound close each part of T2 is almost like a terminal in itself, so don't dawdle!)

As it's all booked as one trip, should something happen to delay you, AF will protect you in the case of a missed connection etc.

    mental!

Formule 1 bed for the night for 37 euro!

with value like that you'd be mad to sleep on the floor for such a long connection unless you really really are skint.

    Hi there.
I dont think under any circumstances you will be allowed to stay overnight in the airport....you will be asked to leave...I could be wrong but there is no way I would take that chance.
As regards connecting flights you should be ok but I would def check this out well in advance.
We flew to Cuba earlier this year with Air France-Dublin to CDG and onwards to Havana.
It was a nightmare getting the connecting flights...coming back due to our late arrival of about 45 mins we missed our flight back to Dublin but they did put us on the next flight about 4 hours later.
