Unionists face censure over PSNI funeral

ULSTER Unionist leader Tom Elliot and a senior colleague are to face disciplinary proceedings within the for attending the funeral of murdered Catholic policeman Ronan Kerr.
The move follows a formal complaint by an Orange lodge in the staunch loyalist enclave of Sandy Row in . It alleges that Mr Elliott and Assembly Regional Development Minister "sold their principles for political expediency".
Disciplinary hearings will now be heard, possibly as early as next month.
The men attended Constable Kerr's funeral in April. But, unlike other politicians present, both are members of the and are forbidden from taking part in Catholic services.

Sad really this made it to press. The Guy was murdered by "Catholics" and protestants show their support for peace process and the Orange Order wants to put them back in sectarian box.?

Typical Orange Order really. However, it getting to the Press may be a good thing in that it might help force the Unionists to ditch the outdated and sectarian link that they've had with the Order for far too long.
