    Hi,

Has anyone sucessfully accessed their Student Mail through Microsoft Outlook 2010 as an Exchange account? When I put in my account details it doesn't work (times out). I have been able to download my mail using IMAP thorugh Outlook but would really prefer to access my Student Mail via Exchange (so I can sync my calendar, contact and tasks also)

I have logged a ticket with ISS 2 weeks ago but didnt get a reply.

    Cheers!

    All i found was this - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/exchangelabshelp/dd253202

If that doesn't work, call into them at the service desk (downstairs at the back of the concourse between the physics and chemistry departments) and see if they can help

I've used both Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 to successfully sync my StudentMail. I've also been able to use Exchange ActiveSync on Android to connect to StudentMail.

To be honest, amazing as it sounds, I've found the email setup wizard the easiest way to set it up. Simply throw in your @nuigalway.ie email address and password and it automatically routes back to outlook.com.

No idea about Exchange, but it's easy to setup via IMAP.

I've had mine forwarded to Gmail since Day 1. You could probably set Outlook up to handle your Gmail inbox, convoluted as it is.
