In the name of Jaysus, what would you need that for? Bog Cycling?

    Cycling on the moon, obviously.

Fair enough. I like it though.

I'm sure it would be useless but I still want it.

According to my crude calculations (for a perfect torus) the tyre volume is something like 20L per tyre, compared to 1L for a 700x23.

That's a lot of air. It would definitely float (approx 40kg of buoyancy).

It needs a power meter, cos you'll be pumping out some amount of watts to move that beast.

    Needs an engine more like.
Wonder if you could get towed by a speedboat?

In something like the Epic Blast would this be better than a regular MTB? Is there a legal limit to MTB tyre sizes?

I've read a few reviews of the Surly Pugsley (everyone needs a snow bike, right?) and the consensus was that it's very bouncy, very slow, and very heavy.

None of which would be great in a MTB race.

Ok so there goes my plan to revolutionise Mountain Biking. So its just for snow and the moon.

What if it snowed on the moon? How big would the tyres have to be then?
