I can't see why it couldn't be downgraded like the majority of airsoft guns in Ireland are.

Gas pistols are notoriously hard / impossible to downgrade reliably.

depends what gas they use, where they are using it (climate) it could be 420 over there on green, and 300 here on green, I've seen it happen with TM's and KSC slingbackers.

As for downgrading, its entirely possible. Easier with an NBB like this.

When it comes to GBBRs and certain pistols we stay well clear of them. There is too much of a grey area involved. Reliable downgrading, use of different gases, etc.

What I should have said is that I dont know too many retailers who would risk their business importing a $77 pistol which allegdedly shoots at 420fps.

using different gas, is as 'perment' a fix as swapping a spring.

for an aeg, the company can only stipulate 'dont upgrade past 328, if they sell a gas pistol, and say 'use it only on 134a, otherwise you break the law' they are legally fine. If the customer then chooses to use higher pressure gas, its thier ass.

Thanks for the replies, has anyone come across a difinitive answer as to what the gun shoots at with 134a? I've spent ages looking online but no answer yet.
I would of thought there would be a way of downgrading these ( new valves or something) as a lot of airsoft guns here in Ireland were "hot" at one stage.

I'd stock up on 134a whenever you get a chance at the moment!
currently Abby Gas canisters are selling at scandalous prices.
And some websites are showing dis-continued for stock levels.
Saw a price tag of 19 Euros a bottle compared to 6-8 Euro I payed before.

This could be important for Irish airsoft that might rely on 134 keeping
a GBB under the limit compared to propane.

    Also alarming:

possibly a silly question but could you use one of these set really low?

Thermo your best bet would be to contact socom gear direct. They might be able to test one on site and get back to you.
