I was looking for a couple of Base Layers and spotted that Elverys online were offering up to 60% off on some Baselayers including Under Armour and Canterbury.

This offer is not available in store. In store they are selling at full price.

These are reduced from €55 to €24.99

Canterbury Baselayer Hot Short Sleeve: €14.99 reduced from €32.99

I want a baselayer for winter, but it seems that those ones are "HeatGear" and Under Armour says that are for warm conditions.
Do they have any reduced baselayer "for winter conditions"?

    (Edit)
I answer myself, the "winter baselayers" are the "ColdGear" ones, and they are not reduced :(

M&M Direct sometimes have the ColdGear stuff in stock, keep an eye out there.

Elverys are also doing a 26.2 discount on all ASICS running gear. Think it's something to do with ASICS being (one of the) title sponsers of Dublin Marathon.

is there really a difference between hot and cold gear.?..My opinion is that these companies, want you to buy 2 and instead of 1...

Coldgear is much thicker than Heatgear but heatgear is generally ok for our winters

Just popped into store on suffolk st and they're at the sale price too. Downstairs. Picked one up, should be good because I'm always too warm with the heavier stuff.
    Cheers OP

    Not over yet:> http://www.elverys.ie/Product/Canterbury-Baselayer-Hot-Short-Sleeve-Top-Navy/211439/0000000678

The link doesn't show all the sale offers. Just type which one you want into the search bar to find it.

Did any of you finally place an order with Elverys?

I ordered some stuff 11 days ago and I'm still waiting for it. Its status haven't changed since 2 days after the purchase ("being picked"). I sent them an email yesterday, without response.

Really disappointed with the service :(

I just received my order, 17 days after placing the order.

I'm so sorry for Elverys, but I really have my doubts about using their online service again.

Lovell Rugby have baselayers cheaper than those.

Ordered off Elverys a couple of times. Terrible experience.

Took ages and a few items missing. Took a lot of mails to customer service to get it sorted and not as much as a voucher for my troubles!

I think the reason for the delay is due to Buy4Now dispatching the items and not eleverys themselves. This means that any order you make online has to get picked from the shop, forwarded to Buy4Now which is then packaged and dispatched.

Terribly longwinded process. Must take ages to get stock back from the shops.

When you consider the turnaround time on the uk sites - kitbag, mandmdirect, sportsdirect etc is around 3 days standard post it makes me wonder why anyone would use Eleverys.ie at all!

I gave up using them due to the inefficient Buy4now, it's like an example of how not to sell online. I know friends and colleagues who have said never again after delayed orders or items not in stock when the order hits packing.
