As above folks which is the better jeep? I have had a jimny and liked it but what is the mitsubishi like? I will be taking out the backseats and using it as a shooting vehicle for me and two springers.
    Thanks

No doubts about it, its got to be the Jimny. You'll have lots of bar stool opinions here about what rubbish they are but in reality they're better off road in tight spaces than many other so called " off roaders "

How big are you? Sounds like an odd question but I'm a fairly big guy and a found a jimny slightly better than a pajero junior, though both are far too small for me to drive on a daily basis.

I'm over 6 ft tall & drove a jimny for 5 years, great little machine, gave me no trouble at all, would recommend to anyone

Cheers mate, ya I found the Jimny excellent just saw a junior and wondered what they were like. I will more than likely go for the Jimny again.

Hmmmm thats a tough one, personally i think the better allrounder is the Junior tbh, the only thing i like more about the Jimny is the larger engine for motorway use. I have a Junior myself, plenty of room for two big dogs, i wouldnt remove the seats tbh as they fold perfectly flat ;) . as for off road use tbh i couldnt get over it the hi/low box is brilliant, we took ours up the sally gap during the heavy snow with no issue (ive snow tyres too) they are used accross europe in trials specially in Russia for some reason. Only down side ive found is that it could do with a bit more power for on the motorway, but hey thats what my other car is for :D

BTW im 5`11 if it helps :D and the dogs were a collie and a german shepard

Just an update lads. I went with an automatic Terios in the end. Just had it down in the bog and very surprised at how well the 4wd worked. Happy days:D
