This should be a good game. Zagreb are the 3rd best side in the group and Real are away, so a win tonight would be very good. The starting 11 is:

Casillas; Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Carvalho, Marcelo; XabiAlonso, Fabio Coentrao; Di María, Özil, Benzema & Cristiano

As I have stated before, I believe Kaká should be starting but obviously Mourinho has a different opinion. I wonder if Ronaldo will score again tonight. Alonso and Coentrao is a big weakness IMO, neither are hard tacklers. The sooner Lass Diarra or Khedeira partners Alonso the better.

Madrid have conceded 7 goals in their last 2 games, despite winning both of them in the end. Lets hope the 3.5 goals conceded a game average doesn't keep up tonight.

Ozil has been shocking. He had a tap-in but tried to pass it into the back of the net, in the direction of the keeper. He also had a chance when a free kick was pulled back into the box.

I think Kaká will come on in the 45th minute or around the 60th. Even if Ozil went more to the wing, Di Maria hasn't impressed me much either. The midfield is very uncertain in total still.

I would have not made a thread, but the charter stipulates I have to create a brand new match thread whenever a match occurs, instead of posting in the team thread.

    You're obsessed with Kaka.

Obsessed? :P I just like to make my point whenever Ozil is started ahead of Kaká. Kaká has had his injuries, but when he fit he is superb. He scores much more than Ozil (he got 19 goals in a Serie A season before) and looks more dangerous. Ozil has been average in the last 2-3 matches, and I think Kaká would have genuinely made a difference if he started.

Ozil in 2011 is a far better option.
