Buying from US website, how to get to Ireland?

    I'm looking to buy about 150 dollars worth of cosmetics from us website but they only ship within states. i don't know anybody well enough in the US that i could ask to post it over without being extremely cheeky so just looking at other options. Does anybody have any experience in relation to this, esp online parcel forwarding services? i googled it and there are loads of options but some of them seem kinda of dodgy looking so i am interested to hear other people's experiences, good, bad or indifferent.

    I also expect I will get stung for tax but i have no idea how much, anything i have ever gotten from the states before has been about 20/30 dollars and didn't get stopped, think there is 22 euro limit before tax applies, anybody have a guesstimate as to how much tax i'll be shelling out?
