Not exaggerating here but in the 70's there were 28 of us going to school in the back of a Transit, wooden benches around 3 1/2 sides, just room enough to open one of the back doors. To be fair it was along quiet country roads, that looks like a busy road in China, and the bus is a lot smaller than a Transit.

Sure 15 years ago my Bus driver would cram about 30 kids into a tiny 15-seat minibus, it was 3 kids to every 2 seats (4 for the younger kids) and the rest sat on stools she squeezed in :pac:
