    Sounds ridiculous - I want it!

    How long are drivers normally. And surely this would be more suited to the shorter, straighter hitters. I wouldn't feel I'd usually benefit from more distance, but if I could hit the bloody thing in the general direction I wanted I'd be many shots lower.

    Why not, with enough time at the range u would probably get used to the length, could be a bomber :) would love to try it

    The legal limit is 48" so their is a reason professional Golfers don't use drivers this long (after all they spend all their life hitting golf balls so who better to utilize it). People who enter long drive competitions could use it, but they get 4 or 6 gos to hit it into a large landing area. And to be honest anyone who has the athletic ability to swing that yoke somewhat correctly would not need the advantages of the extra distance anyway they would need the accuracy.

    The truth is you are longer and more accurate with a driver that fits.
