    am I mad?
Nope, two lovely watches, and about half a dozen boardsies who'll happily but either of you get bored of them

I'll be interested to hear what you have to say about the Stein. I'm very interested in their Ocean Black version.

    Nope, great call I think.

I might be strung up for this, but... I can't put my finger on it, but there's just something about Tags which makes me feel like they're overpriced when you see what you can get for the same money (or less). I don't know what it is though.

I kind of know what you mean....For every Monza or Carrera there is an F1 Quartz that to be honest looks like one of those kids Lego watches.....its a bit like Seiko, as fine as the Springdrive is, as well as its made, I have seen one only once and the finish really is s good as any Rolex or Omega.....would you spend $30,000 on a Seiko when on the same shelf there is a Monster for $120, its like apples and oranges but the feeling is still there, I couldn't justify a Seiko for Patek money no more than a Tag for Omega money.

I like Tags but I do think some of their designs don't age well. I do think their Monaco's are worth the money they charge. I'm all for buying second hand :D

You're not mad at all quite the opposite. The Steinhart is at least the equal of your tag in all relevant respects. The other one I don't know anything about but looks like a very nice watch.

    Hi

    Thanks for all your comments

@ Bullseye...I am trying to change my order to get the Ocean black. Will do a full review when I get them both.

@ Eoin, strung up, no. I agree with ya. Only really like a couple of Tag, more into Omega or IWC in the future

@ Reloc8 - I really like the Steinhart and agree with you regarding the attributes of the Stein. Hopefully it looks and feels as good as the picture

For anyone interested web site for the Torgoen is:

    http://www.torgoen.com/

Mine is the T10 model, they seem to have a good reputation in the Aviation world

    This is the Lume

    T10Lum.jpg

I will do a full review of both once I have them and worn them

    Thanks
