Magic Eye for Sky - Help please

So we heard that these "Magic Eye" devices are used to transmit a signal from your main sky box to another room. We could not get Sky in our bedroom as we dont have a phone line in it so the engineer could not do it. Heard about this device so we ordered one and it came in the post yesterday with a Sky Plus remote. We could not get over how bloody difficult it seems to install it, plus the big problem is that there still needs to be a cable running from the main box and tv to our upstairs one. This cant be done because no matter how well tacked it would be to the walls or floors it would still look awful and be a huge hassle. So just wondering if anyone has any ideas? Cant return the device, not their policy - bought it online for 30 Pound Sterling :(

Sorry to say you are correct in your assumption that a cable needs to ran from your sky box to your second location. If you can somehow find a way to run the cable it is a really easy set up.

Failing that however there are wireless senders on the market which work quite well.
