ITV HD1 lip sync issues

Anyone else experiencing this? Annoying enough to spoil viwing. All other channels are fine.

Yes, same here for me .. on two separate Sky HD boxes, and two different types of TV (Panasonic & Samsung). Unwatchable IMHO, apart from sport. I've seen similar threads on Digital Spy from punters in the UK experiencing the same problem .. it's been going one now for some time.

This problem occurs on lots of LG tv's when used with a Humax Freesat box.

The answer is a firmware upgrade for the tv.

What also works for these is to turn off the dolby digital sound in the Humax box.

Might give you an idea of something to try.

Right, I added ITV1HD (Granada) to my 'Other Channels' and it is working fine. However, as per another thread in this forum, I use a London region FTV card to record ITV1HD on Sky channel 178 - can't record the 'Other Channels' version but at least it's watchable now.
