    Hi all,

I am thinking of grabbing some new pots for volume/tone for my MIM tele.
I have researched a bit and think I should be getting the 500K, though I have heard of some people getting 1ohm pots.
What would you recommend? I'm a total noob at it, so should the pots alone be just what I need to get.

I went with the 500 pots and they definitely open up the tone a lot. With the upgrade the neck pickup is very warm and smooth (as opposed to a murky tone beforehand) but I find the bridge pickup overly bright for my purposes. An upgrade beyond the 500 could be overkill depending on taste

I'm trying to justify a $400 outlay on Lollars Regals which sound amazing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZ3WHfMWLBg
