This first cup will have no limit on players. The player draw will be random, and if this first cup is successful all players will be seeded in subsequent cups.

Its going to be Single Elimination.
Round 1 Bo3
Quarter Finals Bo3
Semi-Finals Bo5
Finals Bo5

If we get too many players, perhaps round 1 will be bo1

Rules:
-All matches will be played on Tuesday Evening.
-The starting time for the matches will be 8.30 pm
-In subsequent rounds if two players have not began their match 20 minutes after their previous matches have finished the un-contactable player will forfeit their game.
-All replays must be posted on this forum. And must be titled as such:

So any feedback on how it went?


Things I will possibly change for future:

Spread out the by's. Top half of the bracket had hardly any games so the player that gets to the final from there might not be as good as the other finalist.

Round 1 should be Bo1

More bo1's and make it double elimination.

Lightness

I'm liking the double elimination and Bo1 up until the finals/semis maybe.

Besides that more participants would be nice and may solve the by problem, well if possilbe of course.

Besides that i think all went well and hope to see the tourney continue.

Congrats to murph who won the final 2:1 against Night! murph was the only protoss who could hold against Night's strong mmm pushes

I didn't read this thread but this may actually be a really good way for me to get back into playing. I could JUST about make it in time for 8.30 (I'm on Canadian time) every Tuesday so I'd be really interested in joining up (probably starting next Tuesday)

Just a quick question: Will this be something "regular" every Tuesday? Or will it just be something that's organised off the cuff?

Oh, and good job getting this started up in the first place :_) Looks like things are still going well even with all the kids back in school.

I will try and organise this for next tuesday, and the tuesday after that, and the tuesday after that... but if something comes up and I can't, I will let everyone know. That's the way I'm going to do it. The plan is to haave it every week but it's not set in stone. I'm back to college in two weeks so maybe it will slow down then. (Or signifigantly speed up!)
