    Folks,
I recently got an iPhone4, more or less just so I could take photos and upload them to Twitter and FB. But I can't manage it. So I look up support.twitter.com, hoping to find out how. Here's what it says :
How do I upload a photo or geo-tag my Tweets?

    1. First, open up a new Tweet.
    2. Tap the Camera icon. This will give you an option to either upload from your photos library or take a new photo

But there ain't no camera icon ! Help please
(same problem on FB - when I post an update, the little menu to add photo, video, etc. doesn't exist)

Are you using the mobile websites or the apps?

Adrian, I was afraid someone might ask me something like that ! I don't really know anything about apps, am behind on techie front. So I just go into the browser on the phone and type in the same address I've always done on the pc.
Don't really know what apps are, how to download them or where to even find them ...

on the front page on the iphone there is a blue square with a white A, under it it says app store, tap that and then tap the search button, type twitter and select it and download it

you will have to create an apple id first and it can be done on the phone, it will tell you this when you try to download the app

after you've done all that and have the twitter app tap on it and it will ask you to sign, when you do that it should default to your timeline, crom there tap the square in the top right corner to create a new tweet, from there you will see a camera icon roughly in the middle of the screen, tap that and it will allow you to select what pics you want to upload

the process for getting the facebook app is the same, app store>search>facebook>install
when you open that it will also ask you to sign in and will either bring you to the news feed or else the main menu, if it's news feed just tap photo on the top and select your photo, if its on the main menu you can go to news feed, profile or else photos and do the same, in photos you have to tap the + and then choose a pic

also keep an eye out for the new iphone operating system iOS5 which is coming very soon, it contains full twitter integration. so when you take a picture on your phone you'll have a new option of tweeting it from within the camera app. makes it much easier.
