    Hi,
Currently have Triton T90 installed on partition wall (wall shared with bedroom). I'm planning to replace it with anything that will be more quiet. I have a gravity fed system that supplies water to shower. I was thinking about putting pump in the attic and connect some kind of a heater in the shower. I spoke to one of guys in showers shop and he said it is not possible as pump will give to much pressure to the heater. Is there any other way of making quiet efficient shower that is fed from tank in attic ?

    regards

A triton T80 is a mains fed electric shower. Its a lot quiter than the T90 pumped electric shower and half the price.

If it later turns out that the mains is insufficent you can rethro fit a T450I pump between the attic and the shower. This is usually put down low like say the hot press but it will all depend on the hight of your attic.

Thanks for info. So there will be no issue if i put pump between attic tank and shower ? Also does anybody knows someone who could install these in Wexford area?

You wont need to install the pump if the mains is sufficent..

However if its not all the plumber does is disconnect the pump from the mains in the attic and run the onld T90 supply to the hot press for the pump and then on to the bathrooom. Its a little more work which is why is suggest trying the mains first.

    Anybody else have any suggestions?
I'm thinking of going for a Mira Elite ST but I'd like to know if there's anything quieter on the market these days?

Thanks but I'm in Dublin. Just wondering if anyone has a quiet power shower or is that a bit of an oxymoron!?

Maybe a digital shower? The pump can be anywhere you like pumping from a standard unpressurised cylinder with standard pump. Or you can get a pumped version which is an integral unit you can install remotely. The beauty is there is just one single pipe from the pump unit to the shower head and one cable. No taps or valves. Completely silent if you are not standing by the pump. You can even have a single button by your bed and switch the shower on so it is at perfect temperature when you decide to step in.

a mira elite st is exactly the same as a t90 in terms of noise. I order of being noisest to quietest here is a list

    Mira Elite Triton T90
    Mains Fed shower
    Power shower
    Gravity Shower

If you fit a shower on buffers to stop them making noise then they are a lot quiter.

Thanks Freddyuk. I didn't know anything about digital showers.

We're hoping to mount it on the outside (solid) wall to lessen the noise. It's currently on a dividing wall.
