Hi All I was syncing my iPhone with iTunes and whilst syncing an error occurred "Corrupt Sync". When I open iTunes now it hangs for ages some times it opens and sometimes it wont. When it does eventually open it does not recognize that mobile device is connected. I have followed the steps on iTunes but the problem still…

Hi All

I was syncing my iPhone with iTunes and whilst syncing an error occurred "Corrupt Sync". When I open iTunes now it hangs for ages some times it opens and sometimes it wont. When it does eventually open it does not recognize that mobile device is connected.
I have followed the steps on iTunes but the problem still occurs. I dont want to reinstall iTunes without backing up my library. I cant even back up my current iTunes library to external HDD because it hangs when I try that.
It seems to me that some thing is conflicting with my iTunes but I don't know how to find this.
Any help much appreciated
