Myself and OH looking to travel Asia for 3 months, here's what we're looking to do....

Fly out on 8th Nov 2011 from Dublin (+/- a few days), stopping off in Abu Dhabi for up to 3 days (to visit friends), and then on to Bangkok

We would like to stay in a nice hotel in Bangkok for 3 nights

(From here we will make our own plans)

Return to Dublin on 8th Feb 2012 (+/- a few days)

At the moment Etihad are the only airlines we've looked at, and the flights are coming in at just under 1600euro for 2 people. We don't mind this, but wouldn't say no to a better deal, and wondering if there's places that do flights + hotel deals?

I'll keep investigating but thought i'd ask here too as you guys know your stuff.

    Many thanks :)

    Hi John,
800€ each seems a decent price.

You could also try expedia, ebookers, lastminute.com, skyscanner to check other options.

OP, I have been to Asia a few times now and have always booked with Trailfinders. My last trip to Vietnam cost about €1000 per person but we left it very late to book so probably paid over the odds.

Air Asia now have a London Stanstead to Kuala Lumpur route so maybe they would be worth checking out.
