    Hi,
I have a problem connecting to the internet on Windows xp sp3. I'm using a netgear wna 3100 adapter to connect, it used to work but won't connect. It can see the network, and says there is 100% signal. When I try ipconfig /renew I get a message saying the operation can't be performed while Wireless Connection 13 has it's media disconnected. The software is up to date and windows should be too, and I've tried reinstalling the adapter. It shouldn't be a network problem because I can connect from a laptop. It's happened before and just came back and connected properly after a few days. Any help much appreciated.

Try ticking "Use windows to manage wireless networks" in the netgear control panel, search for wifi networks in windows Wireless Zero config and hope fo the best, could also be the WEP/WPA Password has been changed on the router settings?
Some older adaptors don't support WPA btw just WEP, so this could also be an issue if the adaptor is old
