Ric Flair comes to the ring and calls out Sting. Flair says Sting might be a “franchise”, but “franchise” and God are a different level. Flair mentions their Clash of Champions match from 23 years ago. Flair says that tonight, it is business and he has to beat Sting tonight. Flair says that as much as he respects Sting, he can hurt him and says the only way Sting can get to Hogan is over Flair's dead body. Sting says that he is looking forward to getting in the ring with Flair, but there is something beyond that. Sting says Hogan and Bischoff have too much power and that Flair has forgotten what is going on around here and says that Hogan and Bischoff have Flair wrapped around his finger.

Stng references WCW and talks about how bad it got and how Flair left to go to "New York." Sting says that for anyone who truly cares about Impact Wrestling, Sting is coming to Bound for Glory to take the company back. Flair says that when he beats Sting, Sting isn't going to New York, coming back to TNA or anything like that, he is coming home. Sting tells Flair that it is Showtime.

Backstage, Karen Jarrett and Traci Brooks are arguing. Karen tells Traci to cover up her chest. Karen asked Traci to gather all of the Knockouts for a meeting. Karen tells Traci to wipe the smirk off her face.

Match Number One: D’Angelo Dinero, Devon, and the Knockout Tag Team Champions Brooke Tessmacher and Tara defeated Sarita, Rosita, and the TNA World Tag Team Champions Hernandez and Anarquia when Tara and Tessmacher pinned Sarita and Rosita at the same time.

Fortune members A.J. Styles, Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, and James Storm come to the ring. Styles gets the mic and he introduces Bound for Glory Series winner Bobby Roode, and Roode comes to the ring. AJ congratulates Roode on winning the Bound for Glory Series and says Roode will beat Angle for the title. The crowd chants “NEXT WORLD CHAMP”.

Christopher Daniels then takes the mic and mentions how he beat a Former World Champion in this ring and also congratulates Roode on the way that he won last night. Daniels says the fans believe in him and that he has to believe in himself.

Frankie Kazarian then takes the mic and commends the whole group and he says that while they are a unit, they all have individual goals and says that this is Roode's time.

James Storm then takes the mic and says talks about the road that they have been on. Storm would have liked for it to be him facing Angle, but if it can't be, he is more than happy that it is Bobby. He then says to Kurt Angle, sorry about your damn luck.

Kurt Angle's music hits and Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring. Angle says that he clawed his way to the top, even through an injury. Kurt then questions Fortune’s mentality and questions the other four for not being envious. He says that they are all here for the same reason: The World Title. Angle says to Roode that since they don't want to tell them how the other members of Fortune really feel, he will tell Roode that he's jealous. Angle says since the Hogan/Bischoff stroke has rubbed off on him, Angle has said that in the weeks leading to Bound For Glory, Bobby Roode will face the members of Fortune. Angle then says that if any of them manage to beat Roode, after Angle sends Roode back to the bottom of the totem pole after Bound for Glory, whoever beats him will be at the very top.

Match Number Two: Velvet Sky defeated Angelina Love (with Winter) with a DDT. During the match, Winter accidentally hit Angelina with the belt, leading to the finish of the match.

They retaped the opening segment with Ric Flair and Sting. Flair came out in his ring gear and he called out Sting. Sting came out in his ring gear as well and the two bickered back and forth. They did not mention the WCW bit like they did in the first promo, or going “up north”. This segment was much more "angry" compared to the first segment taped, which was more “respectful”. Security had to come out to separate Flair and Sting.

Match Number Three: Samoa Joe defeated Matt Morgan with a modified figure four leg lock in a No Surrender rematch.

Match Number Four: Bobby Roode defeated Frankie Kazarian with a Crossface. After the match, Roode and Kazarian shook hands.

Match Number Five: Bully Ray and Jerry Lynn defeated Ken Anderson in a handicap match. Ray hit Anderson with a chain when the referee was dealing with Lynn.

Match Number Six: Sting defeated Ric Flair with a Scorpion Death Lock. During the match, Immortal ran out and the referee tried to stop them. Bully Ray then snuck up and got in the ring. Ken Anderson ran out and chased Ray away. Hogan stayed around the ringside area to encourage Flair. Flair used brass knuckles but Sting kicked out.

The episode ended with Sting staring at Hogan, who was on the ramp.

    For Xplosion:

Match Number One: Mickie James defeated Madison Rayne with the leaping DDT.

Match Number Two: Magnus (with Doug Williams) defeated Jesse Sorensen via Michinoku Driver. Jesse went up top during the match and Kid Kash ran out and pushed Jesse off which led to the finish of the match.

well they have been building to Sting vs Hogan at BFG for months so no surprise that its happening though I really cant see it being a good match (prove me wrong TNA) though atleast its a marquee name match.

However in stark contrast I am glad to see them pushing Roode and hope they really get behind him now

More like well over a year. They've been building towards Hogan/Sting since March 8th last year. The quality of the match entirely depends on the crowd. If they treat it like something special it'll do well enough, if they don't react it'll be a candidate for the worst match of the year.

I like the idea of Roode facing a Fortune member each week but I think Christopher Daniels or maybe even James Storm might turn heel

Sting came out to the ring holding a contract and he wants to get Hogan to come out to the ring. Sting gets the crowd to chant ‘Hogan’ and Hogan comes to the ring. Hogan says it is not going to happen since Hogan is not medically cleared. Sting laughs and asks for a clip to be played. The clip was of Hogan attacking Sting several weeks ago. Hogan says this isn't funny. Sting says that that is proof and that Hogan has still got it. Hogan says he has nothing to prove. Hogan says the contract means nothing and that he is a business man now. Sting says if he wants to do business let's do the match right now.

Eric Bischoff comes out and questions what Sting is doing. Sting immediately lays out Bischoff with a punch. Sting says that nothing that Hogan can do will keep the match from happening.

Karen Jarrett was backstage with Miss Tessmacher, Traci Brooks, and Mickie James. Karen was talking to Mickie James and Miss Tessmacher about them having a "Queen's Qualifying Match" where the winner would face Winter and Velvet Sky in a three way match at Bound for Glory. She told Brooke to think twice about going out there and showing off what everyone wants to see. Brooke and Mickie walk off and Karen told Traci to cover her chest up again. Kazarian walks by and insults Karen by telling Karen she isn't even worth paying 50 cents an hour. Karen got on her phone to call someone and walked off angrily.

Match Number One: Mickie James defeats Brooke Tessmacher with a Leaping DDT to win the “Queen’s Qualifying Match’ to face Winter and Velvet Sky in a Knockout's Title Match at Bound For Glory.

Match Number Two: Austin Aries defeats Jesse Sorensen to retain the TNA X Division Title with a school boy. Kid Kash got involved during the match and he distracted Sorensen by taking the football and tossing it to Jesse. As Kash walked away, Jesse threw it and hit Kash in the back. Aries then hit the IED Dropkick and then got the schoolboy for the victory.

Kurt Angle comes out and invites Bobby Roode to the ring. Angle commends Bobby for passing the first test of beating Kazarian. Tonight, he will face Christopher Daniels who two weeks ago turned his back on his best friend. Angle wonders what Daniels will do tonight. Roode takes the mic and says that for 13 years he has given it all to this business. Roode says that Angle is the greatest wrestler to ever live, but on October 16th in Philadelphia, nothing will prevent him from taking the World Title. Angle says he knows a man who will stand in his way and it might be his best friend he has in this business and James Storm comes to the ring. Storm gets in Roode's face.

Storm says that he can see what Roode is thinking. He is thinking that Immortal bought him out. Storm says he makes his own rules. He is not out here to get into it with Roode, but he is out here to get into it with Angle. Storm insults Angle and says something that he should do, since he has all of the stroke, Kurt should make a match between him and Angle tonight. Angle asks who does Storm think he is. Storm advises Angle to go to the back and put on his gear and sorry about his damn luck.

Christopher Daniels came out with a microphone. He said that he will not be facing Bobby Roode tonight. The reason for this is he feels he has nothing to prove by beating Bobby since he beat a former World Heavyweight Champion and a Grand Slam Champion in AJ Styles three weeks ago.

AJ came to the ring and asked why Daniels has to make these snide comments about AJ. AJ says that he and Daniels can do it one more match if they want. Daniels said that he has already proven his point and Daniels said that AJ did say that last time was supposed to be their last one.

AJ slapped Daniels mic down, got face to face and talked crap to him. AJ went to walk away, Daniels then said that he didn't know that he was a sore loser as well as a bitch. AJ turned around and attacked Daniels. Security attempted to separate them, but they were unsuccessful. AJ and Daniels brawled towards the backstage area before coming back to the ring. Kazarian ran out to separate the two of them. Things calmed down, but Daniels kicked AJ low before walking to the back.

Match Number Three: James Storm versus TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle went to a No Contest in a non-title match. This was a back and forth match for about ten minutes until Storm accidentally kicked Brian Hebner. Earl Hebner came to the ring and went to cover it, but Gunner ran out and pulled Earl out of the ring.

Bobby Roode came down to ringside to make the save for Storm and forced Gunner to the back. Bobby Roode picked up the World title that was in the ring and laid it in front of Kurt Angle and stared him down as Kurt took it and walked to the back.

    Xplosion

Match Number One: Eric Young defeated Douglas Williams to retain the TNA TV Title with a Crucifix rollup. Magnus was on commentary for the match.

Match Number Two: Gunner defeated Alex Shelley with an F5.

It's an interesting approach to building sympathy behind Hardy.

Just watched this weeks Impact and really enjoyed the feuds leading up to BFG are going well.

Wonder could we be seeing a triple threat at BFG Storm vs Roode vs Angle or maybe Storm vs Gunner. Im glad i am stopped looking at TNA spoilers these days because it makes the shows feel better.

As peolpe have been saying the whole Jeff thing is being handled well, they are not just bringing him back and throwing him into a top feud they are trying to rebuild him(which is the best way to do)
