    Hi Guys,

Going to buy tickets for Canada 2012 but dont want to use formula1.com. I have used them twice before but they dont deliver and finding the box office at the circuit can be a major pain for many reasons.

I see that bookf1 deliver so I am thinking about using them. Can anyone advise ?

Yeah. I was thinking of the circuit direct too. Its just that I saw people at the weekend in Monza with the BookF1 ticket holders so I thought I would use them. They seem pretty ok from looking online. Want to book something today. Emmmmm. Decisions !!!

I got my tickets for the Belgian Grand Prix just gone from Bookf1. No problems at all. They added a charge for admin and postage, think it was around €25 but afaik other online booking companies charge similar. Tickets arrived around two weeks before the event. The Monday after the GP they also emailed me to say they had given me X amount of points that would entitle me to a reduction on my next booking

I booked directly with the circuit. Sort of regret not going with bookf1 now, but the same tickets were about €70 cheaper for two direct from the circuit so......

Yeah I booked my mine for Barcelona through the circuit directly, same as I've done in the past for other races. Very rare to see anything vastly cheaper online that isnt a fraud

sounds like you got a far better deal, cant remember exactly why i purchased from bookf1, i think the Spa track website had no more gen adm tickets left at the time of booking

    Hi Op,

I'm afraid I've no experience with bookf1 but if you want other options I've booked several races with easygpt.com and I've never encountered any problems at all over the years.

As a previous poster said though, so give serious thoughts about booking thru a third party. Given the economic climate we are in, there is a higher risk today. Having said that if you book with a credit card and the company goes bang before you get your tickets you MAY get a payback on your credit card (Bank's insurance) - I have before on a non-F1 purchase.

Not meaning to scare monger but F1 tickets are big bucks so it's best to be smart about these things.

Edit: ooops just saw you already bought your tickets, sorry. I'll leave my post there though in case it's useful for others.

Have a great time at the race... If you haven't been to an f1 event before you will thoroughly enjoy it... Great weekends!!

I am put off by Formula1.com as well as you have to go find the ticket office at the track and that's a pain in the ass. I've been to Monza twice and Spa once and each time I bought the tickets directly from the circuit itself. I aim to do the same for Monaco (I think it's the Automobile club of Monaco you buy them from?).
